The Shore Side Learning Centre is proud to be a trusted, reliable home of learning and achievement for the families on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. With over a decade of success and experience working with students of all ages, we are happy to provide specialization in literacy skills development, writing workshops, and reading fluency and comprehension techniques to learners aged three to ninety-three. Our warm, welcoming environment provides the optimum learning space for early beginners, school-aged students, post-secondary scholars, and adult learners alike.

The Shore Side Learning Centre is excited to present the SpellRead program to the families of the South Shore. After over ten years of success in Halifax, working with more than 2000 students, South Western Nova Scotia is now the home of the number one rated reading comprehension program available today. SpellRead is the trusted source to boost reading and language skills by both parents and professionals, including doctors, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and teachers.

SpellRead is a proven prevention, intervention, and remediation program that helps learners of all ages become efficient, confident readers. SpellRead is more than just tutoring; it is a specific, organized, detailed, and successful program which gives students lifelong skills to be confident, accomplished learners. From early readers preparing to enter school, to students who may find themselves falling behind in their expected outcomes, to high school or post-secondary students looking to improve their speed and understanding of material or writing skills, SpellRead will help. Adults looking to boost their efficiency, read more easily, and perform their work tasks more readily are aided by SpellRead. The program is designed to aid many diverse learning styles, including diagnoses of learning challenges and English as a second language.
